Rex and I have been friends since the moment we met years ago. It has been a difficult road for Rex since his near-death experience 11 years ago. Rex fell approximately 26 feet and landed on a concrete bike path head-first.
Given a second chance at life, returning to life from death, Rex has disabilities from a significant traumatic brain injury. But he is determined to be the best version of himself regardless of his limitations and hopes to give something meaningful to everyone he touches.
Given the severity and frequency of migraines and other post-traumatic brain injury symptoms, he can no longer work a regular schedule or be employed by an outside source. When he feels capable, he works on his second book, creating presentations and music. He needs help with essentials for daily living, such as funds for ongoing medical expenses, car repairs and maintenance, and updating his aging computers, which allow him to do his work.
He hopes his life's work can have a "ripple effect," inspiring all people, including those with disabilities, to be at their best. He shows what is possible and hopes to bring people together through his work. Without properly working equipment, this work and calling are not being met.
The financial goal to meet these basic and immediate needs is $12,000. Thank you for any contribution you can make to help Rex live independently and productively.
Please share this urgent and meaningful GoFundMe with at least five friends, and feel free to repost it publicly. Thank you.
