Neama and her family needs your help to get out from Gaza!

"Humanity in Action: Your Impact Matters in Helping Gazan Families in Surviving Ongoing Genocide

Hello, my name is Anadin, and I'm reaching out to you from the Netherlands with a story that's very close to my heart. It's about a family in Gaza, Palestine, who desperately need our help.

I want to introduce you to Neama Nader Abo Jarada, a young girl whose life has been turned upside down by the devastating conflict in Gaza. Neama's family lived in Khan Yunis until their apartment was destroyed by Israeli bombs. With nowhere else to turn, they were forced to flee to Rafah, seeking safety amidst the chaos, and finding a ray of hope in refugee camps dreaming of safety, comfort and normalcy whilst the sounds of bombs and destruction are the only melody.

But the tragedy didn't end there. Neama's mother, a pillar of strength for their family, was severely wounded in an Israeli strike, fleeing for her safety. Her leg is badly injured, and doctors say she may need urgent amputation if she is to have any chance of recovery. As a father myself, I can only imagine the pain and anguish this family is going through.

That's why I'm reaching out to you today. I have been in contact with Neama before this genocide and I know her family’s situation personally, and the situation is dire. A few weeks ago, I lost contact with Neama and her family and I feared for the worst, that they have been martyred by Israelis. I had a sigh of relief when I have heard from Neama and her family’s whereabouts.

The family has no means to escape to safety, no way to access the medical care that Neama's mother so desperately needs. Their only hope lies in crossing the border into Egypt, but even that requires money they simply don't have.

As I sit here in the comfort of my home in the Netherlands, holding my own son close, I can't help but feel a deep sense of responsibility to help those who are suffering halfway across the world. Every child deserves a chance at a better life, and every mother deserves access to the medical care she needs to survive.
