Hi, I am Courtney. My best friend, Angela is having her third and final child. Once she found out and started getting further along they found out their child as Trisomy 18(Edward’s Syndrome). After going to Des Moines and doing more testing they found out on top of that, Zoey has a rare heart defect where she had 2 ventricles on the right side and none on the left. This is known as double outlet right ventricle(DORV). So with this came more worry and what to do. They went to Omaha were they are going to do surgery for her. Angie will be leaving Iowa in a couple of weeks to go stay at the Rainbow house in Omaha until she has the baby (early Feb). This will leave her down there with no family. She will also have to cover her food down there. Her husband will be back in Iowa working to keep the house afloat and with the two other kids. Please pray for this family and consider donating to help them over the course of this time. She may be down there for some time.
