Funeral Expenses

For those that may not know my name is Dejuan Mills or Cooper to close family and friends, I am the brother of Jermaine Mills or Shack as we call him. If you had the honor of knowing Jermaine you will know that he was a gentle giant, hard working man, and most of all a loving father. If you did not know Jermaine just imagine me only 6 feet tall as we have the same exact personality with big hearts. As you can imagine this is a very difficult time for his family as we must execute the job of laying a loved one to rest. Jermaine fought with the strength of a thousand gladiators and courageous spirit of a lion for three and a half weeks against the COVID-19 virus of which his body could no longer battle. On Tuesday, Aug. 11th at 10:43  p.m. Jermaine was called home to take his place in heaven as God deemed his work on earth was complete. Jermaine worked as a masonry professional for eighteen plus years which was his life greatest passion. During his limited off time he would spend it with his six beautiful and wonderful children teaching them the importance of personal values, education, ethics, respect, and hard work. Unfortunately with a heavy heart I am creating this Go Fund Me account to raise funds to assist with the funeral arrangements for Jermaine being as the family is in a position of limited financial resources to cover his funeral expenses. Therefore the family humbly ask for any donation you can make towards the cost of his funeral service which will be tremendously appreciated.  We do understand  with the current state of our economy it may be difficult for some to contribute as your budget may be tight and we would not want you place you and your family in a financial bind. Funds will need to be collected as soon as possible in preparation for his home going service on Aug. 22nd. I will personally be in charge of funds collected as I have taken on the financial responsibility to allow the family a funeral service to celebrate the amazing life of Jermaine which we were blessed to be apart.
