Support Oscar to go to Word of Life Bible college

Hey there! My name is Oscar, I’m 17 years old and I'm fundraising to go to a Bible Institute in America which is run by an organisation called Word of Life.

My dream from since I was a kid is to reach the world for Jesus. I want people to have the opportunity to hear the gospel no matter where they are or come from. For as long as I can remember, I have always known of Jesus and have always known that I would go into ministry like my parents and grandparents. As well as this, I have always played and loved sports all my life and so through this, it was easy to see that my calling was to go into sports ministry. When I was told about an opportunity to study the Bible in an institute, I was captivated. However, when I heard there was a place to study the Bible that also had a basketball team that used their love for sport to evangelise and spread the gospel, I couldn't believe it.

This opportunity to go to the Word of Life Bible institute for a year would help me to grow spiritually, equip me with a fantastic knowledge of the Bible and the tools I need to go into missions. In addition, through the basketball ministry, it would also give me experience in the field of sports ministry.

The total cost to go for a year is $23,000 yet God decided that he would bless me by sending me news that my tuition fees ($11,900) had been completely waived. However, the rest of the costs is a hurdle I can't overcome alone. My goal is to raise £6000 to pay off the rest of the remaining fees and allow me to attend in September 2025. I am currently applying for more scholarships and working to try to raise money but I need your help to allow me to fulfill what God is calling me to do without the burden of financial stress.
