Hello,
Ne cede malis (Latin): Do not yield to adversity.
It's a latin phrase I live by. When things get tough, which they have been for millions of people around the world, I refer to this phrase. As an independent, young, millennial, I do my best to strive forward in the most concerning times. I am currently fundraising after finally being able to use the American Rescue Plan to get a more stable place in Southeast Washington, DC. After an unexpected formality, my start date for my new role in banking has been pushed toward the end of the month. Unfortunately, my first paycheck may not be in time to meet the expenses of rent, transportation, and other basic needs. Something so many young people are trying to balance. I am humbly fundraising as a solution in this moment. Who knows, may be practice for a future campaign for something bigger. If you could so kindly donate any amount, I'd be so grateful.
