Support Cannonball Water Protectors

140 years ago, a multitude of Indigenous nations gathered near the banks of the Little Big Horn River to take a stand against a common enemy who sought to wipe out whole cultures in a lust for land and resources.

Today, descendents of this multitude and a vast number of allies from other nations on this land and across the globe are gathering along the banks of a river once again to council, create a plan, and secure victory against the DAPL and its backers, who have so far shown indifference to the lives of all who rely on the water beneath the pipeline.

Diné Citizens Against Ruining Our Environment and our allies are mounting a small convoy for our coming trip to Cannonball, ND. We are accepting donations to keep those on the ground warm, healthy and fed.

In days past, Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull, Gull, and many others took the lead in securing the Little Big Horn victory. May their defiant spirits shield the protectors and secure victory for nations, wildlife and generations yet to be born.

We are collecting donations to supply a Winter Tent, Tent Stove, and food supplies to those who have committed to staying on the ground to fight for our rights to the land and clean water for all. We are heading out after the first week of October, so we are greatly appreciative of your prompt action in supporting our water protectors.
