I'm Yahya Eid, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and an urgent need for your help. In Gaza, where conflict has torn apart so many lives, my family relies on me alone. Every day brings new struggles and pain.

I never imagined this is how we would end up, homeless and living with hundreds of people in a shelter. We used to live a wonderful life in Gaza, in a beautiful warm home full of love. But everything changed overnight. We managed to escape by a miracle, yet everything was left behind.

Now our home is just rubble.

I can’t imagine losing any of my family members, simply because there’s no safe place. To escape this nightmare we each need from $5,000-$10,000.

My father, who used to support us, is now retired and too unwell to work. Just when I thought I could start over, my shop, which I worked so hard to build, was destroyed in the chaos of war.

But even in the midst of destruction, there was a glimmer of hope - a small apartment I managed to build. It was meant to be a new beginning for my family. But even that was destroyed in the conflict.

Now, I come to you not just as a man in despair, but as a son determined to save his family. I can't bear to see them suffer anymore. I can't watch as everything I've worked for falls apart.

We dream of escaping the violence and starting over somewhere safe. Your help could change everything for us. With your support, we can rebuild our lives and find hope again.

في غزة، حيث أفسدت الصراعات حياة كثيرين، تعتمد عائلتي عليّ وحدي. كل يوم يحمل لنا تحديات جديدة وألماً.

لم أتخيل أبداً أن ننتهي بهذا الشكل، بلا مأوى ونعيش مع مئات الأشخاص في ملجأ. كنا نعيش حياة رائعة في غزة، في منزل دافئ جميل مليء بالحب. لكن كل شيء تغير بين عشية وضحاها. نجحنا في الهرب بمعجزة، لكن تركنا كل شيء وراءنا.

الآن منزلنا هو مجرد أنقاض.

لا أستطيع تخيل فقدان أي من أفراد عائلتي، ببساطة لأنه لا يوجد مكان آمن. للهروب من هذا الكابوس، كل واحد منا بحاجة إلى مبلغ ما بين 5,000-10,000 دولار.

والدي، الذي كان يعيلنا، الآن متقاعد ولا يستطيع العمل بسبب ضعف صحته. لكن عندما ظننت أنني يمكنني البدء من جديد، تم تدمير متجري الذي بنيته في فوضى الحرب.

We have returned to Gaza… but there is no home to return to. Our houses are nothing but rubble now. Everything is destroyed. The city we once knew is unrecognizable—just ruins, smoke filling the air, and the sound of constant bombing.

There is no food, no water, no shelter. Only fear, cold, hunger… and an indescribable pain.

We are trying to hold on to hope, but survival here is a daily struggle. Every bit of help, no matter how small, makes the difference between hunger and survival, between thirst and life.

From the depths of our hearts, we beg you—please stand with us in this desperate time.
