Hi Everyone!
My mom, Ginger Walsh, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. December 18th she will under-go surgery at Sloan Kettering in NYC. She will have her liver tumor removed and a colon resection. A chemo pump will be implanted into her abdomen for future treatment.
Following surgery and recovery, She will begin chemotherapy two times a month in New York.
My mom will have many expenses beyond what insurance will cover. On top of regular expenses there are co-pays, deductibles, travel costs, ect. This will require time off of work as well. That being said, any bit of help is greatly appreciated.
We are also holding a Team Ginger benefit at Radono's in Wilkes Barre on January 26th. You can find more information about this event on my Facebook page (Alexandra Gonda).
