Everyone should have at least one friend in their life who Makes Things Happen. Steph is that friend for me - from countless weekend getaways, including an Eras Tour trip, to organising a surprise engagement party and a delightful bachelorette weekend, and of course being the master planner of our 2024 DIsney Cruise Adventure... Steph has always had a love for experiences and an admirable capacity for organisation that has resulted in so many treasured memories for me.

Frustratingly, she has recently had to take all that make-it-happen energy and focused it on getting her life back from Long COVID. Thankfully for those of us that love her, she has tackled this problem with the same determination that had Steve go all in on a Inside Out group costume day on the cruise. Which means she has found the best chance she has at getting her life back, and she is pulling out all the stops to make it happen. And as someone who would be lost without her, I'm not above flat out asking for donations from my community to help ease the financial burden of this opportunity. Help Stephanie Heal – A Journey Toward Hope

Since 2022, Stephanie has been battling Long COVID—a relentless and life-altering illness. For years, she endured countless doctor visits, tests, and unanswered questions, all while her health continued to decline.

Once full of energy and deeply involved in her community—running, hiking, fishing with her family, coaching youth soccer and hockey, and even learning to play hockey herself—Stephanie’s world has drastically changed. As her symptoms worsened, she was forced to step away from work entirely in December 2024.

But there is now a ray of hope.

Stephanie has been accepted into a specialized clinic in Bad Aibling, Germany, offering promising combination therapy treatments that are showing real results for Long COVID patients. This clinic represents her best chance at healing and reclaiming her life.
