Nduja Pawraiser

Nduja is a beautiful 2 years old German shepherd Czechoslovakian wolf-dog cross. She is full of life and loves running, playing with her ball and chasing squirrels.

Unfortunately in one of her walks, she fell into a ditch that was hidden by grass and weeds sustaining fractures in her front left paw.

After several investigations, the shocking diagnosis: multiple severe fractures of metacarpal bones and rupture of the ligaments. Needless to say, those are life-changing injuries.

Nduja was referred to a Specialist Orthopaedic surgeon who performed a long and complex operation in order to fuse her bones, however, she will never regain the same mobility in her front paw.

Being so young and active, her recovery is quite tough for her.

Nduja is owned by two amazingly hard-working NHS nurses; she is loved by everyone who meets her including the staff at the hospital and always brings a smile to everyone's face.

Although Nduja had health insurance, only a small amount (1900 pounds) of the procedure was covered by it.

Nduja’s owners, not only were distraught by the accident, but of course, they were not prepared to afford such a significant expense.

If you could donate any spare penny to help cover the cost (approx 10000£+) of her treatment, they will be extremely grateful.

Nduja e’ un bellissimo Pastore tedesco incrociato con lupo cecoslovacco e ha 2 anni. E’ piena di vita e ama correre, giocare con la palla e rincorrere scoiattoli.

Sfortunatamente durante una delle sue passeggiate e’ caduta in un crepaccio, nascosto da erbacce e vegetazione varia, riportando delle fratture nella sua zampa anteriore sinistra.

In seguito a numerosi esami diagnostici, la diagnosi shock: fratture multiple alle ossa del metacarpo e rottura di tutti i legamenti annessi. Senza bisogno di dirlo, questi sono infortuni che le cambieranno la vita.

Per le cure necessarie Nduja e’ stata riferita ad una struttura specializzata e più precisamente ad un ortopedico specializzato che ha eseguito una lunga e complessa operazione. Quest’operazione e’ stata necessaria per fondere insieme le ossa della zampa, nonostante ciò Nduja non riguadagnerà mai più la mobilità’ originale dell’arto.

Essendo cosi giovane e attiva, la convalescenza e’ molto dura e stressante per lei.

I proprietari di Nduja sono 2 infermieri che lavorano per l’ NHS (Sistema Sanitario Inglese); Nduja e’ amata da chiunque, compresa parte dello staff dell’ospedale e porta un sorriso sul viso di chiunque l’incontri.

Nonostante Nduja sia coperta da assicurazione, soltanto una piccola parte (1900£) dell’operazione e degli esami diagnostici e’ stata coperta da quest’ultima.

In suoi proprietari, non solo sono stati sconvolti dall’accaduto, ma come prevedibile, non erano preparati ad affrontare una cosi ingente spesa.
