Speed Skating Nationals

We are the Ndubisi-Pinkelman boys, and we have been competitively speed skating with the Texas Speed Club (Austin, TX) for almost 2 years. Recently all three of us qualified in our respective divisions to compete at Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska. We have been training very hard to get to this level, and for all 3 of us to reach our goal has been no easy feat. Since we all qualified, the expenses needed to get us to Nebraska for the week are 3 times as much. We - and our parents - would greatly appreciate any donations to help us achieve our next major milestone. Here is a little bit about each of us:


Hello my name is Gavin and I speed skate. I recently just went to regionals and placed 3rd overall in my division and for a couple of relays as well. Last year I started speed skating and regionals was my first meet. I didn’t do very well and pretty much fell every race but I trained hard over the next year and made it to nationals. It is very expensive to go to nationals for just one person but I have two other brothers that made it as well. We need to raise $2,400 by July 1st for gas money, entry fees, hotel and all the other races that we have to pay for during nationals.


I am Gaige, and I skate in the Juvenile division. I am 10 years old and I placed 1st overall at regionals. I also placed in all of my relays. I want to go to nationals because I want to challenge myself and a lot of people on our team want me to be a national champion. I hope we can make it.


I am Grey, and I am 4 years old. I skate in the Tiny Tot division and I am the youngest skater for Texas Speed Club - I put on my first pair of skates when I was only 2. I like to speed skate because I like to go super fast and learn. I want to go to Nationals because I like meets - they are super fun and I get medals and awards.
