Single mom having to start over

I am a single mom who recently lost everything (job, house everything) I have to find an apartment ASAP and I need help. I have a 3 year old who’s dad doesn’t pay child support and isn’t in my province. I just need help to get an apartment for us so that we’re safe while I look for work and continue my studies. I feel like I’ve hit rock bottom. We won’t have any furniture at all either, except for my
Sons room(bed, dresser, all his stuff) but other than that we are fully starting over with nothing.  I wouldn’t ever normally ask, because I’m the generous, giving person. But We really need help. 

UPDATE: 04/08 still applying for everything, apartments are so expensive and now I can’t even get a serving job which I was mostly applying for, because our government shut everything down again! I found another daycare thank god! just have to see how much I’ll have to pay ... I need a place by may 1st... please keep thinking positive thoughts for us ... 

UPDATE: still applying for everything and every job. And now as if it couldn’t get any worse my sons daycare which (was partly funded by the government) just kicked him out for not napping at nap time. The universe is just throwing everything it can at me:(
