Hello Everyone,
I have had a lot of people contact me through Facebook, text, church, and in person, who have asked me how they can help Jim's Family and get the word out.
Jim died unexpectedly on January 18, 2015. Jim leaves behind 5 children, (Jimmy, Jennifer, Jessica, Joanna and Johnny) and his wife Julie. As you may imagine, Jim's loss has been devasting to his family.
Jim had a tough financial year prior to his death. He was dedicated to and working for a Campaign that went on without Jim after the primary (to their own great loss). His oldest daughter Jennifer will be graduated from Marquette University this spring, Jessica is finishing her Sophmore year at Columbia, Joanna will be graduated from Deerfield High School this spring and headed to college, and John is finishing his Freshmen year at Deerfield.
After Jim's death his back taxes were sold and a redemption period was set. Julie can maintain the home, if she can pay the back taxes - She would love to remain in their long time home for John to finish High School. Please help spread the word and donate if you are able. In times like these we all need to pull together to lift up the ones who are suffering. The Leahy family is strong and, with everyone's help, we can make a difference for his family in this time of loss.
