I'm reaching out to all my friends to contribute even the smallest amount to help my brother in his time of need.
My brother Joe has had a very difficult year. He lost his wife Anita unexpectadly this past December.
This week Joe underwent radical surgery and he will be unable to work for the next 4-6 weeks. The surgery was required to deal with difficulties exacerbated by his struggle with Type II diabetes.
He is currently in the hospital recovering from radical surgery due to his illness. He will be unable to stand and or begin his physical therapy for several weeks. This recovery will depend on how well he heals and how soon he can begin to wear his prothesis.
I am asking for assistance in filling the gap between what his immediate family and friends can provide and the added expenses of limited income due to his recovery, his therapy and his need for prosthesis to allow him to return to work.
It is my sincerest hope that many of you, especially those who are battling diabetes or know of someone who is will contribute just enough that we can get him through this exceptionally difficult period and help him meet his financial obligations while being unable to work.
