Double Lung Transplant Expenses

My name is Shelley Johnson and I have a rare form of Interstitial Lung Desease called Pulmonary Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis.

I've always led a very active life. I was diagnosed in 2018 but continued living my life as normal as I could. In the last 9 months my lungs started to decline rapidly. I'm now at the end stage and in the process of receiving a Transplant. Unfortunately, I am $21,000.00 short of the housing costs Duke University Transplant Program requires. I need to raise this as soon as possible in order to go forward in the program. I'm a Military Veteran and former Law Enforcement. I'm blessed with 3 grown children and 2 beautiful grandchildren, not to mention my Father and wonderful friends. Please help me to continue to live. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
