Hi , my name is Meghann , I am the proud mom of Dean . He is 12 and is in 7th grade. He is an honor roll student that strives for straight A's even without me having to push him . He is the most polite and sweet boy in the world and he deserves to go on this trip . I am a single mom and although through a small scholarship Dean received to help pay for this trip, I just can not pay for this trip entirely. He told me that it's ok if he doesn't go because he doesn't want me to stress about having to pay all the money to send him , that alone , his concern for me not to stress, just shows how much of a kind child he really is.  He never asks for anything , and when this opportunity to go on this school trip came up , he immediately wrote it off as him not being able to go. I want my son to experience our nation's capital as he is very interested in history and politics.  He so deserves this and I truly hope , with your help, he can go in March.
