Kick cancers butt!!

Thank you for everyones support during this hard time in our lives..My name is rob purgavie fiancé of Lorin More. Lorin and I have beautiful life despite all the hardships we have been dealt, and have kept a positive out look on everything that we have had to deal with. On December 15th 2014 Lorin had to under go surgery at Monmouth medical center for a mass that was growing off her uterus..This all started from lorin getting a birth control device called " IUD" removed from her only 8 months of it being in her and 7 months of complications from the IUD before getting it removed. after her surgery the doctor told us it was a 8 pound yolk sac tumor and it was filled with cancer. they did a full hysterectomy "that put her into rapid menopause" & took part of her bladder, removed more cancer on top of her colon. for 22days she had to use a catheter and learn to use her muscles to walk again. her recovery was a fight but she charged it like the champion she is. lorins next step was chemo therapy which she is doing now and it has not been fun. she takes 3 medication through a port put in her chest surgically for 5 1/2 hours a day including fluids. despite losing her hair, being in such excruciating pain and all the ups and downs mentally emotionally and physically Lorin more keeps a great positive approach to every single day she is thankful to just be alive. Lorin and I would like to thank everyone for just taking the time to read her story. Lorins goal when all this is finished is to help women understand the risks and danger in "IUD devices" and help anyone who goes through any type of cancer. Also back to her life as a full time mommy and back to her passion for the past 16 years as a kick ass hair stylist. again thank u for all your kind words thoughts and donations they have helped us more then you know..much love and respect Rob & Lorin
