Hello lovely people,
We are London South Bank 3rd Year Midwifery Students, on Sunday 10th July 2022 our friend and fellow student Ndidi passed away in her home with her children witnessing her sudden death. Ndidi was an only child and a single mother who looked after her two children who are 15 and 16 years old. Ndidi who was already a qualified Nurse and Midwife in Nigeria, but here in London she was a 3rd year midwifery student who undertook her placement at St Thomas Hospital and was looking forward to graduating and qualifying this year in November. Ndidi was also a Dental nurse here in the UK prior to starting her midwifery degree and has devoted many of her years to healthcare and caring for others both back home and here in the UK. She was the embodiment of peace and grace; she was simply amazing. Ndidi always went out of her way to ensure everyone was feeling fine even when she had her own personal problems. She was a blessing to be around and one of the kindest souls to grace this earth. Ndidi touched so many lives and was dedicated in everything she done. As her colleagues we want to give her a befitting send off and wish to support her children. Ndidi was an only child, and the only family she had was her and her children. Her children have no family to depend on so we really want to try our best to support them. We lost an amazing soul, mother, friend and midwife to be. She will be sorely missed. Thank you to every single person for their generous support in this difficult time.
