I'm writing this on behalf of my mom, Marcie Fisher.

My mother is one of the kindest, most caring people I know, and she needs our help. As most of you know, my moms health has been failing over the past years. These past few years have been an incredible challenge for my mom, Marcie and for me, her main support. She has had more health challenges than any one person should have to endure. Within the past few years she has suffered from several severe auto immune diseases which have impacted her liver, skin, digestive system and nervous system. Just recently she was diagnosed with severe stage 4 (out of 5) kidney failure.

These conditions cause her to have to take over 20 medications. The kidney failure has caused her to have severe anemia, resulting so far in 3 blood transfusions, weekly injections at her doctors office and extreme fatigue. The kidney failure is not allowing her red blood cells to live in her body which is causing the extreme fatigue she battles with daily.

It is hard for us to ask for help but we've reached a point where we need to. Her medicines are getting more and more expensive. I shared living expenses with her up until October and now she has been struggling to find a roommate. This has been a great financial burden on her. She desperately wishes she could go back to work but she often struggles to even get out of bed. She needs her medicines to help her get back on her feet.

Earlier in 2015 she had run out of one of her medications and didn't have the money to buy it. Luckily I was around that day and I found her on the floor near death, the doctors kept saying how I saved her life. I don't want this to happen again or worst, for me not to be there and that happen again but to lose her this time.

Just to get her through January, medication wise, its going to be an astronomical expense. She's also laps behind in so many financial obligations and this causes her an extreme amount of stress. Which is not good for the healing process.

Any amount, no matter how small, helps. And the biggest thing you can do is to get the word out and share it to anyone and everyone possible. In this vulnerable time we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.
