D.A.R.N.A Rescue Needs Rescuing

Due to closures caused by the Coronavirus, many people in Spain including our president, Grace, have found themselves without income for the foreseeable future. Grace normally works 60 hours a week so she can use almost €2000 of her earnings each month to feed and look after almost 200 animals in DARNA’s care. Without this income, the sanctuary is now left in crisis, and 4 weeks from now, we will have no way to
feed the animals or pay for their medication.
Each month we spend roughly €2920 for basic needs:
- €780 for animals in residency
- €640 for food
- €1500 for vet care and special medications
This is without even taking into account, the cost of the sanctuary, unexpected expenses,
or transport.

Debido a los cierres causados por el Coronavirus, mucha gente en España incluyendo nuestra presidenta, Grace, se ha encontrado sin ingresos para un futuro próximo. Grace normalmente trabaja 60 horas a la semana para poder gastar casi 2000 € de su salario cada mes para alimentar y cuidar a casi 200 animales bajo la atención de DARNA. Sin estos ingresos, el santuario está ahora en crisis, y dentro de 4 semanas no tendremos forma de alimentar a los animales o pagar su medicación.
Cada mes gastamos aproximadamente 2920 € para necesidades básicas:
• 780 € para animales en residencia
• 640 € para comida
• 1500 € para atención veterinaria y medicación especial
Esto es sin añadir, el coste del santuario, gastos imprevistos, o transporte.
