Hi my name is Ricki; I am Billy Jack Ebare’s sister. Some of you may have already heard that my brother has been recently diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. The squamous cells on Billy’s tongue is where the cancer has started. The cancer growth targets the muscles and nerves that help with movement and function such as taste, speaking, eating, and swallowing. The treatment for this cancer involves surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy that will take place in Sudbury Ontario at Health Sciences North Hospital. Due to the distance to be travelled for treatment, both Billy Jack and his wife Dawn have had to step back from their employment in order to participate in 7 weeks of cancer therapy. At this wonderful Christmas season please find it in your hearts to assist Billy Jack and his family financially in any way you can towards the lost wages and treatment to cure his cancer.
