What begins with a court can shape a future!
With gratitude and humility, we are asking for your support as we prepare for the 2026 season of NDAW ACADEMIE’s community basketball camps and youth programs. These initiatives are about far more than basketball — they are about creating spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and capable of more than they ever imagined.
In 2026, we aim to reach youth across 8 regions in Senegal through our Basketball by Bus (B3) initiative. By traveling directly to communities where access to sports, mentorship, and educational resources is limited, we meet children where they are — offering guidance, discipline, teamwork, and belief both on and off the court.
With your support, we plan to ship over 400 pairs of basketball shoes to Senegal, provide proper gear and meals, and surround youth with mentors who lead by example. We also plan to rehabilitate and rebuild two community basketball courts, creating safe and welcoming spaces where children can continue to grow long after our camps end.
In 2026, we are honored to work alongside the Black Student Athlete Summit (BSAS) to host our first collaborative camp, workshops, and conference experience, bringing together student-athletes, professionals, and mentors to help prepare young people for life beyond sports.

More About Our Story & Our Impact
My name is Colin Lamine Ndaw, and Senegal is the only place I have ever called home. Growing up in Dakar, I saw many of my friends and teammates struggle to afford something as simple as a pair of basketball shoes or access to the education they deserved. Those moments stayed with me and planted a quiet promise: if I was ever given the chance, I would give back.
That promise became NDAW ACADEMIE.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, partners, and supporters, that promise has already reached far beyond what we imagined:
3,500 children reached through camps and clinics
20 basketball camps organized across communities
4000 shoes and sports equipment were donated
Youth coached with a strong emphasis on life skills, leadership, and discipline
50 coaches, mentors, and volunteers engaged
Community courts restored and activated
Partnerships built with local and international organizations, including BSAS
