Hi! My name is Katelyn Robles and I’m 16 years old. I’m starting this fundraiser to help my mom. She’s done so much for my family. There’s a total of 5 children in the family, with two of my brothers with disabilities. My little brother has cerebral palsy and autism, while my older brother has autism. She only gets paid for taking care of my little brother. She takes care of us all. My mom definitely deserves more.

My dad cheated on her ever since my little sister was born. My mom always tried her best to keep my dad happy and to stay. I always wanted to do something but I was too young. My dad mentally and emotionally abused my mom, which scarred me and my siblings. My mom had to file a restraining order on my dad as well. We’ve overcome so much as a family.

However, my mom had a divorce court date today. My mom did all of her paperwork and court ruled programs. While my dad claims he’s too busy and he’s homeless, while there is evidence that he lives with his mistress. He also has two other children with her and doesn’t pay child support for us. He claims he wants to see us but never reached out. My little sister tried messaging him, asking to see him, through an app for divorced parents. He looked at the message and never replied. The judge took my dad‘s side. And now we’re close to selling our house.

My mom can’t afford a lawyer. She had to sacrifice her own jewelry in the past so she can afford to pay rent and groceries.

i don’t know how much a divorce lawyer costs, but I just want to raise enough to help. Thank you for reading my family’s story.
