FIGHT for MAGGIE!

Donation protected
Maggie is a deaf 27 year old beautiful girl in Canada. She is struggling with many severe health issues and behind on medical bills.

Maggie was born with 2 genetic mutations, 1 that caused her deafness and 2nd that causes clotting of cells and puts her at high risk for cancer.

Maggie is on a lot of medication, inhalers and other treatment to try to ease the many complications she faces with daily. She has had to go through so many procedures including a bone marrow biopsy, GI endoscopy, and many infections and currently fighting a liver infection.

In 2017 Maggie was also diagnosed with Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA) syndrome is a rare form of vasculitis, meaning it causes inflammation in small and medium sized blood vessels, which causes breathing issues and if her eosinophil counts go up due to an allergic reaction to something or her asthma then it can cause more damage to her organs.

Maggie’s current white blood cell count (EOS blood test for EGPA) is 1,000, they should be under 500. Near 1,500 is a fatal risk.

On top of all that in August 2023 she was admitted to hospital with a severe asthma attack and she had surged her lungs and then she had her first grand Mal seizure. Maggie has a right lung transplant.

She was formally diagnosed in November with Frontal Lobe epilepsy which directly causes non stop seizures some resemble ticks, others are full grand Mal seizures.

She is also currently working with doctors right now to do further testing for a brain aneurysm.

She needs help to pay the bills, medication, and the transportation from her home to the right hospital(45 minutes from her home) as she cannot drive.

Canada do not cover LOT of bills which have left her in the hole of debts. They cover some costs for basic necessities and health care but not all others that require severe health care and testing.

Please consider donating, anything helps this sweet girl who deserves the world.
