As many of you are already aware, Amedeo suffered a stroke in July, which left his right arm paralyzed.

After painstakingly working to regain function while attending countless doctors appointments & therapies - he then suffered a second stroke just three weeks ago. This second one was much stronger, causing paralysis to the entire right side of his body. It also caused speech impairments and cognitive issues.

When the second stroke occurred, he was med-flighted to Albany Medical and has since been transferred to Sunnyview Rehabilitation Facility, where he undergoes 4+ hours of both physical and occupational therapy per day.

In the meantime, we have reached out to Bringham & Woman in Boston for a second opinion. An appointment has been scheduled for mid-September. This first visit with a neurosurgeon will explore why this continues to happen to him. Future visits and possible brain surgery may be on Amedeo's horizon to correct the root of the problem.

We know Amedeo has so many friends and family that care for him and could lend a hand in any way possible via this Go Fund me. We are trying to help alleviate a bit of financial pressure so he can focus entirely on getting better.
