In Memory of Rod Scott

More than just a basketball player....This young man, Roderic Scott, was a special kid.  Not only did he standout as a star on the basketball court but he stood out in the hearts of so many people that he encountered.  Montgomery has truly lost a jewel.  Rod was a loyal son, a loving brother, a  devoted student, a dedicated friend, a child of God, among many other things.  Much more than just a basketball player, he was Montgomery's own.

His life ended way too soon from a tragic car accident but he will continue to live on in our hearts because you didn't have to know him to love him.  Look at your son, your brother, your friend, your classmate, your teammate, yourSELF and you'll see Roderic....It could have been any of us.  Let's show the family how much we care, let's show them how big our hearts are in Montgomery, in Alabama, throughout the entire nation.  Let's sacrifice a small gift from each of us to provide an immeasurable gift to the family to help ease this time of transition.  If you can't give a monetary gift, please give them your prayers.  All names of contributors will be provided to the family.
