Today has been a sad day for our community as we lost one of our Nassau County Sheriff's Officers, Eric Oliver. Officer Oliver went to work each day to protect and defend each and every one of us. Now it is time for us to step up and try to help protect his family and one of the best ways to do this is financially. There is going to be lots of costs that we have no idea will come up in their lives that they may need help with. Yes his daughter may receive help with college in the future, but I am pretty sure there will be hidden costs that won't be covered. We don't all know the family's personal finances and we shouldn't want to know it. But we can let his family know we are thinking of them by giving back as he always gave to us. So please take a moment and give to Officer Oliver's family and lets support them the way he always supported us!
