Mother who Sacrificed Her Life for us

Hello, my name is Leaon Gordon, I am 20 years old and I am a college football student at Merrimack college. For starters I want to let you all know that this "go fund me" has nothing to do with me, in fact, it has everything to do with my mom. My mom is a single woman who has had to deal with racism from other black families and white families for adopting three black children. She has sacrificed her life for my two brothers and I. My oldest brother, who is now 21, and I have been through 6 different foster families throughout Connecticut from 2 months to 14 years old. Unfortunately in our first home him and I were abused and have been scared for life, however, we have Luckily never be separated. As for my younger brother who is 19 he has been in and out of group homes his whole life and has been all by him self. Each of our lives have had many ups and downs, however, in third grade my oldest brother and I lived with this family who was suppose to adopt him and I. We lived there for 5 years. Little did we know directly next door about 40 yards away was our third grade principle and our soon to be mother. Within those five years living next door to our future mother we built a relationship out side of school, she wasn't just our principle job but was a parent that my brother and I had been longing for. she paid for him and I to play football, paid for all of our equipment, went to every one of our football games ( the family we lived with never even went to one game) she paid for us to go on a Disney cruise with her ( she paid for the whole thing, passport, flight, hotel you name it.) she bought us clothes, shoes and more because the family we lived with at the time was stealing the money that was suppose to be being used for us on themselves . She would have given the world to us and we weren't even hers. Long story short she ended up adopting my older brother and I when I was in 8th grade because the family we were with was trying to get rid of my brother and wanted me to stay. At the time she was a principle at a school in our town and had a lot of responsibility and other obligations and people who relied on her, yet that didn't stop her from adding to her plate and saving our lives. From the first day she took us in to now I can honestly say that if she didn't do what she did for me and my brothers we'd all be in jail and another statistic. Instead she gave me a chance at life and taught me how to open up, trust, and love others unconditionally. She to this day has not stopped, we frequently have guests over our home who need a place to stay to get back on their feet or just a second chance because everyone else has turned their back to them. She never thinks twice about it and welcomes them with open arms. ||||So my goal is to raise money for my Mother to do what ever she chooses with it, whether that be a vacation, a trip to visit her relatives, donate to a child abuse charity, the choice is hers.||| We aren't the wealthiest family, I'm in college trying to make my mother proud at all. If I could supply her with a vacation all by my self I would, however I can't. SO THIS IS WHY I AM ASKING YOU ALL IF YOU COULD DONTAE ANY AMOUNT TO THIS "GO FUND ME" IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. My Mom is the worlds best mother, and she is my hero, I strive to be have the person she is. I am my Mothers Son.
