In April 2023 John Bergquist “Johnny B” was admitted to the hospital for a deadly infection that spread through his body from an infection which started from a wound on his foot. After 3 weeks in the hospital on iv antibiotics and another 9 weeks in a rehabilitation center , he thankfully was able to come home. So far Johnny has had 2 skin grafts with a possibility of more.

As much as Johnny appreciates all the cards, visits, food, etc he still needs our help.

Johnny was hoping to return to work soon, but after a recent visit to his Dr. he was told he isn’t able to return to work for at least another 6-8 weeks.

Johnny is an asset to the community. He works as the security at the guard shack, as well as steward for the fire department and emergency management director. He is a great friend who could really use our help right now.

Anything you can give would go a long way to helping Johnny until he is able to work again.
