Our monthly feed bill alone is about $5,000, and right now our funding is very low. We’re trying to get a head start for next month so we can continue saying “yes” to the dogs who need us.

Here’s what’s coming up:

• Dixie and her four pups are getting spayed

• Marvin is getting neutered

• Bella is scheduled for her spay

• Sonny is having hernia surgery

• Gertrude is undergoing allergy testing

• All of our long-timers are due for their yearly vaccines

Rescue is expensive. Food, surgeries, testing, vaccines — it adds up quickly. But these dogs are worth it. Every single one.
