Dear friends and family,

Due to unfortunate circumstances our mother passed away September 24th, 2025. Through her wishes of wanting a burial and our wish to give her the funeral she asked for, we are calling for help and aid from the community. We are not asking for anything grandeur, but one that grants her wish and gives her a peaceful and respectful sendoff.

Her name is Ly Deng, born April 2, 1967. She’s always been a loving and caring mother. One who’d walk through snowstorms just to make sure her children had enough food. The type to learn how to cook anything because her children asked and the type who’d sit and chat with you all night long just to make sure you’re doing okay. Sometimes though, her compassion made her forget to take care of herself.

However, from the day she was born to her very last day, she made a huge impact on everyone around her. Her smile was always so beautiful that it lit the room around her. The jokes she made and the laughs she laughed echo in the heart of those that surround her.

This is only a glimpse into her life as a grandmother, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She should have had so many years ahead of her but unfortunately, God had other plans for her. Due to her sudden passing, we were unprepared for these circumstances. Even the smallest donations will go a long way for us. Anything will be of help to let our beloved grandmother, mother, daughter, sister and friend rest easy knowing she was loved and cared for until the very end. To show that her way of life has truly impacted even the smallest of communities.
