Hi my name is Annemarie. A few years ago my husband and I purchased a small cheap home in Ohio in need of repairs. We put in whatever we had to fix it up inside in hopes of moving there. Tragedy struck and he became very ill. Work had to be stopped, but inside was nearly complete. Last year, unexpectedly, my husband passed away leaving me with no family or anyone to turn to. Unfortunately, because we were not legally married, even though we were together 37 years, common law is not recognized where we are and I am not entitled to any of his benefits. I am alone with all the burdens on myself. I do much rescue work, therefore I have many responsibilities, which prevents me from moving freely or go anywhere. At that time, I was unaware that my contractor whom I had to hire, did not finish the job. Three days ago, I received a disturbing letter from housing and demolition. I have thirty day to comply or I am faced with them tearing down my home. All the dreams I had are crushed. I lost my husband, now I am at risk of losing my home. I can not stay where I am much longer. On bended knees, I am praying for a miracle if anyone can please help me raise the money needed to save my home in time with any donations possible or, if you are not able to donate, please share. God bless you all. I only have thirty days to comply. The only thing left dear to my heart are these animals that I save in rescue and the animals I groom at my shop. This is what keeps me going.
