It has been 5 years since I completed my 500hr. Advanced Yoga Studies. In that time, I have discovered how much I love working one-on-one with people. In one-on-one sessions I can tailor yoga postures and practices to the individuals needs and goals.
My passion is to help people change their lives through yoga and contemplative practices, integrating mind, body and spirit.
On October 17th, I'm starting a 2-yr 900-hr Yoga Therapist Certification program with Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. This certification is accredited through the International Association of Yoga Therapists and will equip me to work alongside therapeutic modalities such as Physical, Cognitive and Trauma therapies. I'm excited to expand my skillset to facilitate greater healing and well-being in clients.
The beautiful gift of Yoga Therapy is Whole-Person care, addressing mind, body and spirit in each session, making Yoga Therapy an integrative and unitive experience for clients.
One of my objectives in business is to make yoga therapy affordable and accessible for everyone. With this certification, clients can be reimbursed for therapy through their insurance, making yoga therapy more financially affordable for them and as well as helping me grow my reach to a greater number of clients.
Traveling is required for the first group of classes. I will be traveling to Denver Colorado from October 17-November 10 to take Phoenix Rising Essentials Level 1 and 2; Physiology and Anatomy; and the beginning of a 9-month Level 3 practicum (Introduction to Yoga Therapy). The second year of training is offered through on-line classes, mentoring and webinars with minimal traveling.
Would you please support my travel and housing costs for the 25 days I'm in Denver? I'm trying to raise $3000 to cover my airfare, Airbnb, transportation and food costs while staying in Denver.
