“Lucky” needs our help!! This sweet boy was found in a small, green crate (that he has apparently been in for a good length of time), by a CVS dumpster in east Lancaster, CA. My friend, Valerie, found this poor baby shaking, emaciated, malnourished, and scared. By God’s grace, Valerie found this poor baby and immediately loaded him up in her vehicle, called local veterinarians, and took him to the one that could see him the soonest.

X-rays show no broken bones, he has no tumors, bloodwork is great. He is very malnourished and is requiring IV treatments to help nourish him. He is also sedated on pain medication at this time. Upon the exam, the vet tech discovered that his teeth have been sawed down, preventing him from being able to eat regular dog food. (Perhaps also leading to malnourishment.) “Lucky” may have been a bait dog for dog fighting.

At this point, vet bills are approximately $1500 and this does not include any of the items Valerie will need to help nurture this lucky boy back to health.

Whoever did this to Lucky are complete MONSTERS.

BUT, Valerie is a saint with a heart of gold and I am just

so thankful that she is the one who stumbled across Lucky at that CVS dumpster.
