Helping a Veteran who is too proud to Ask for.

“A friend in need is a friend indeed”, a very dear friend of many who has slipped through the net of Charity and support network and now in terrible situation. Paddy has served in the Royal Navy for 16 years, a very proud veteran, would not ask of anything but has the attitude to get on with the life and help other in abundance. But the continuous lack of selfcare this 60 year old veteran, still suffering from PTSD of losing his fellow friends when HMS Coventry sunk during the Falkland war in 1982. We have come to conclusion that he is in no position to dig himself out and needed our help to give him his dignity and deserving living condition in improving his house that it has become beyond human living. A covenant of veterans and Forces Charity Veterans Contact Point (VCP) and SSAFA near his house in Bedworth have pledged to do anything and everything to help him. In which we would like to request all friends and colleague to chip in a donation of any amount in helping us to immediate start renovating his house and wellbeing. Thank you so much.
