Kent has been extremely sick for nearly a month.  His sister Kim dropped everything in her life in Texas as soon as she learned that Kent was ill.  She has been in Bloomington since November 7th and has led his care as his next of kin.  

At this point Kim has exhausted all of her paid time off from her job.  She can likely take FMLA from her job, but that will be unpaid.  

As someone who has watched Kim deal with this crisis I can say that I can't imagine anyone ever doing a better job.  She has made every decision with Kent's wishes as her primary motivation and concern.  Kent needs her here in Bloomington for the forseeable future. 

In order to stay, Kim will need to have enough money to pay her bills in Texas, have money to live on here, and will likely need money for attorney fees to get advice with regard to Kent's care.  

The Tribe is called into action.  Please, help us help Kim so Kim can continue to help Kent heal.  He has made incredible progress, but he still has a long road ahead.
