Dear Friends and Family,
Two months ago, my sister, Char, found out that she has Stage 3 Breast Cancer. It’s taken us all a bit by surprise, and we’re all still finding our way in this journey. It is devastating, but knowing we have the love, prayers, and support of so many of you has helped us all so much.
We are grateful Char has great medical coverage but given how aggressive the type of cancer is, the Doctors have decided to be as aggressive as possible with her treatment. Because of this, the cost of just the co-payments will be over $2000/month which is out of reach for her. She’s looking at over 8 months of constant treatment so the financial burden is more than she can absorb.
Char starts chemo this Friday (8/7/15) after recovering from her double mastectomy and is remaining positive and in high spirits! She would love to hear from you all, so if you have some time please send your messages and prayers
