My friend Javier comes from a very abusive family and has been homeless in Mexico City for a while ever since he was kicked out of the house. He has endured a lot of pain during this time, including people taking advantage of him under the guise of helping and suffering from very a painful skin infection which was exacerbated from the unhygienic environment that inevitably comes from being homeless.

Javier received some help in the past but he limited himself to asking just enough to allow him to survive on the streets. He was able to tolerate living like this until much recently where he fell into a mental crisis and came very close to taking his own life due to his situation becoming more and more unbearable by the day.

I am starting this fundraiser on his behalf because we have decided that he cannot continue to live like this and needs all the help he can get. All the proceeds of the donations will be sent to Javier and will be used responsibly. Javier will use these funds to get all the medical and mental help he needs, finding an acceptable place to live and also paying for the costs required to complete his education.
