Kidney Transplant

Hi my name is Rachel Wardale. I am fundraising for my incredible friend, Theresa Wotherspoon, who will be receiving a kidney transplant at the end of August. Theresa has dealt with kidney issues since childhood. This transplant will provide her with a, much deserved, new lease on life. This procedure requires her to travel to Vancouver and stay there for approximately one month. Around half of the cost of her hotel will be covered by 3rd party medical coverage however, the remainder of the cost falls on Theresa. This is a huge expense for someone who has been unable to work due to dialysis requirements. Theresa is the type of person that goes out of her way to support and care for others. This is our chance to rally around Theresa and show her our support.

I would personally like to say a huge thank you to Theresa’s wonderful cousin for donating her kidney. You are a blessing, not only to Theresa, but to all of us who love Theresa.
