For the first time in 15 years, The Hancock Bulldogs have a team going to the MSHAA state volleyball championship! On Thursday, November 14th, the Bulldogs defeated the Trojans in a sweep for the Regional Championship. On Tuesday, November 19th, the Bulldogs won over the Atlanta Huskies with another sweep (25-20, 25-16, 25-18). Our Bulldogs are now just TWO wins from a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!
This exciting win does come with a cost. We have to provide transportation and hotel rooms for our volleyball players. Additionally, we hope to secure a fan bus so our high school students can attend the game on Saturday, November 23rd, and support our athletes. If the Bulldogs win Thursday (11/21), we earn a spot in the final game on Saturday. HCH would like to provide transportation again for students and families to witness the historic event!
If our Bulldogs are to make it to the championship game, the school needs to come up with about $7,000 to cover all costs.
HCH thanks you for your generosity and help in providing this momentous experience for our school!
