Hi! We are raising funds to help cover the costs associated with Dakota’s upcoming surgeries.

Dakota was born with VACTERL association and has differences with his Vertebrae, Heart, Trachea, Esophagus, Kidneys and Arms ( Radial Dysplasia)

Dakota was adopted in 2018 and we were told his chances for walking and talking were slim to none. He suffered a hypoxic event that had catastrophic consequences.

Dakota is 6 years old now and has already been through over 20 surgeries in his little life including Open Heart Surgery, Craniosynotosis Repair, and Ulnarization which we traveled to Baltimore to have done.

Dakota is a fighter and has best every obstacle placed in front of him! He is truly a walking, talking miracle!

We are now taking Dakota to West Palm Beach Florida to the Paley Institute for Orthopedics to get him the best care possible.

Dr Paley is one of two surgeons in the US that specializes in these surgeries for radial dysplasia.

These surgeries will give Dakota the ability to do the things he loves like playing tee ball and holding a bat as well as holding a fishing pole.

His first surgery will be November 29th.

He will have a total of 5-6 more surgeries over the next two years. One of which on July 11th will require Dakota and myself to live in West Palm for 16 weeks. Our insurance does not cover these stays or travel expenses. We are applying for several grants but would appreciate any help!
