Help Giselle and the Jimenez Family with medical expenses.

 

Hello, my name is Sandra, and I am writing this for my sister Crystal and niece. I hope you can take some time to read and support this cause. My niece’s name is Giselle Jimenez, and she is 18 coming 19 years old on November 7th. She is a student at Western Nevada College and an older sister to her 3-year-old brother and 5-month-old sister. Due to an unknown liver problem she has undergone severe changes in the past couple weeks. These sudden changes have taken a toll on the family as we figure out what is causing Giselle’s liver to not function properly. Her body is currently affected and has lost a significant amount of weight, skin and eyes have turned yellow, energy levels are extremely low, etc. She has not been able to attend school or help care for her young siblings as her parents need to work. In the past few days, Giselle has been medically taken in and unfortunately the doctors cannot find exactly what is wrong with her. On the night of Monday , October 16th, Giselle was taken on an emergency care flight to Salt Lake City, Utah for a biopsy to find out further details for her condition. Her father was taken along with Giselle, on the other hand, immediate family had to travel last minute from Carson City to Salt Lake City. With the unexpected costs of travel and finding a place to stay and both parents not able to work , since condition is unknown not sure how long Giselle will be admitted for and we ask for your support for Giselle as we find out the right treatment and care for her.

 

Hola, mi nombre es Sandra y estoy escribiendo esto para mi hermana Crystal y mi sobrina. Espero que puedas tomarte tiempo para leer y apoyar esta causa. El nombre de mi sobrina es Giselle Jiménez y cumple 18 años y cumplirá 19 años el 7 de noviembre. Es estudiante de Western Nevada College y hermana mayor de su hermano de 3 años y su hermana de 5 meses. Debido a un problema de hígado, ha sufrido cambios severos en las últimas semanas. Estos cambios repentinos han pasado factura a la familia a medida que descubrimos qué está causando que el hígado de Giselle no funcione correctamente. Actualmente su cuerpo está afectado y ha perdido una cantidad significativa de peso, la piel y los ojos se han vuelto amarillos, los niveles de energía son extremadamente bajos, etc. No ha podido asistir a la escuela ni ayudar a cuidar a sus hermanos pequeños aunque sus padres trabajan. En los últimos días, Giselle ha sido atendida médicamente y, lamentablemente, los médicos no pueden encontrar exactamente qué le pasa. En la noche del Lines 16 de Octubre, Giselle fue llevada en un vuelo de emergencia a Salt Lake City, Utah, para una biopsia y conocer más detalles de su condición. Su padre fue llevado junto con Giselle, por otro lado, la familia inmediata incluyendo la mama de Giselle y sus Hermanos tuvo que viajar en el último minuto de Carson City a Salt Lake City. Con los costos inesperados de viajar y encontrar un lugar donde quedarse, sin los padres poder trabajar le pedimos su apoyo para Giselle mientras encontramos el tratamiento y la atención adecuados para ella.
