Class Of 2023 Senior Trip

My name is Rose, and I am a senior at Moffat Consolidated School. I live in a small, low-income town in rural Colorado. My class and I have started fundraising for our senior trip. We hope to raise enough money to go somewhere new and different since most of us haven't left our little town. Because our town is so rural, there aren't many fundraising opportunities. We are doing our best with what we have, selling concessions at sporting events and running bake sales, but we are going to need some extra support. After a lot of research, we have found that it will cost a little over 1,000 dollars per student to go to any of our chosen locations, including the cost of transportation, hotels, and food. We don't expect to have money just handed to us, but every penny helps.
