We are Efua Quarm (Long Island University, Brooklyn), Audrey Naadu Banie (Smith College), and Kwabena Dadson (North Dakota State University) – all passionate alumni of the Youth Arise - Leadership Diary Training Program. Our journeys to leadership were shaped by resilience, determination, and the unwavering support we received from Youth Arise. The program equipped us with the skills and confidence to thrive in college and pursue our dreams.
Now, we're on a mission to empower the next generation of young Ghanaian leaders. We're driven to ensure others have the same opportunity to excel. Join us on this transformational journey!
Our Mission, Impact and Your Contribution Below!!
Mission:
Youth Arise fosters a generation of impactful African leaders through our transformative leadership development programs. We equip young minds with the skills and knowledge necessary to become positive changemakers in their communities, workplaces, and beyond.
Impact and Achievements:
Since 2013, our flagship Leadership Diary Training Program has empowered over 5,000 young people.
LDTP engages participants in sessions on leadership development, mentorship, regenerative health and nutrition, career choices, practical Community Service experience, to mention a few. Our graduates go out to hold leadership positions on college campuses, workplaces, and throughout their communities, demonstrating the program's lasting impact.
Vision:
We aim to train 500 young Ghanaians this year, equipping them to become transformational leaders who inspire positive change at the local, national, continental, and global levels.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION FUELS THIS VISION!!
Your Support Makes a Difference:
Your donation directly provides critical needs within our program:
- A MINI-BUS: This is our major need for the year. We have had major issues with our volunteers and workshop assistants as well as participants getting to the venue on time and regularly. This will help make our work easier. It is placed at a $10,000.
- 1500 BOOKS and 500 sets of supplies: We provide high-quality workshop books, printouts, and other resources for a well-rounded learning experience.
- 500 DIFFERENT COMMUNITY SERVICE EXPERIENCES: Participants gain valuable experience by serving their communities in areas of Health, STEM, Education, Charity, and Sanitation.
- 12,000 MEALS: During the full-day workshops, participants are provided with breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks to stimulate learning and retention.
- 2 EDUCATIONAL TOURS for each participant: We engage our participants in thoughtful conversation about history, current affairs and the environment on our educational tours to historic and natural sites.
By investing in Youth Arise, you invest in the future of Africa. And by investing in young people in Africa, you invest in the largest growing continent of the world. Your contribution empowers young leaders to become catalysts for positive change.
Spread the Word, Amplify the Impact:

Become a Changemaker:
By joining Youth Arise, you become more than just a donor – you become a changemaker. Your contribution affirms the power and potential within every young person to become a leader who shapes a brighter future for Ghana and the world.
