On Sunday April 22nd our mom Cynthia Newport and her husband Terry Brennan were on their first day of vacation in New Orleans when their car was hit from behind - sending them all to the emergency room. The car accident was the result of this violent shooting spree and car chase : Sunday Crime spree
Cynthia is currently at Universty Medical Center hospital with a broken femur, hip and pelvis. She cannot walk or sit up. Her purse went missing from the accident along with her ID. She needs to go home to Las Cruses, New Mexico. We have found a rehabilitation center there for her to stay in and recover.
We are still trying to figure out a solution to getting her safely home. We don't know how much any of this is going to cost yet but it will be substanstial and anything will help.
We are raising money for medical transportion home, and the rehabilitation needed once she is there.
