Hi, may name is Joel Taba-ay, I'm a temporary foreign worker here in Canada from Philippines  and I'm here for almost five years now. I was diagnose of lung and liver cancer last June of 2014 and recieve an I.V chemo for two months but it did not work well to me.  now they prescribe me a chemo tablet (Crizotinib/xalkori 250mg) and it works very good. it shrink the tumor for almost fifty percent in just two months.
May problem now is that may work permit will expire this coming March 27 of this year (2015) and I can't renew it anymore because of my health condition and also I'm covered with the new rule that we can only stay here for 4 years.
I'm now begging to people who has a good heart to fund my medication (even if just one bottle of this tablet for me to take home.  its 60 tablet/bottle which cost $8,800. )  I can't afford this in our country and it's not available there anyway.  I'm very optimistic that this tablet could totally shrink or even eliminate this tumor.
I would be very happy to be with my family specially may wife and my daughter to see them soon and hoping that I will be strong and healthy again.
