Hopes and wishes and dreams take a step back when you’re fighting CANCER.

Twenty years ago when the world was a bright happy place with endless paths to follow and a future to look forward to, Sara developed aplastic anemia that required a Bone Marrow Transplant. As her world began to spin out of control, Sara never lost perspective and still wished for a life that included a family and her own children. Doctors told her that would be impossible, but she proved them wrong. She found Victor who has proven his deep love for her time and again, and they were able to have two beautiful children. So now, almost 20 years to the day, here we go again. Now Sara is battling stage 4 breast cancer, most days her body being too weak to hold her up, laundry and dishes piling up, children too young to be in school, and no family other than Victor who works to pay the bills and keep the medical insurance, and his parents to occasionally help them. Every minute of every day, and with every breath she prays that she can survive this and that she will not die and leave her husband with two little children.

While Sara continues the brave struggle against this relentless enemy she needs YOUR help. When we are healthy we all take for granted the basic necessities.
