Many of you heard my plans to do the 50 miler on Catalina just last month. Unfortunately, some things transpired and I was unable to participate. Its been eating at me that I didn't do it, so i have been trying to think of a 50 miler of my own.
Through a little research I've come up with a 50 mile route that starts in at the Newport Shores and goes south on PCH to San Clemente pier, and then back

I am looking at the Spring Equinox (Sunday March 20th) as a launch date - approx 7am. As this is a small event(just me) only requiring 24 hours to prep, I can shift it if weather is an issue.
Ive also been thinking of ways to add a little funk, so I am going to run it in wild colored tights - Hence #tight50.
Last but certainly not least, ALL PROCEEDS from my run will be donated to Best Day Foundation to help their expansion into San Diego!
