The Breakdown is a web series that provides commentary and satire on Alberta Politics.

Recently, a post of ours came to the attention of a powerful figure who has advised us that he will be initiating a lawsuit against the shows host, Nate Pike.

While Nate has continued to host The Breakdown, he has been off work and recovering from a PTSD diagnosis he acquired in his role as a Paramedic and while he is receiving some support and excellent treatment via WCB, his financial situation is quite limited.

All of the funds raised will be put towards mounting a legal defence, and if for whatever reason the legal action doesn’t happen or if all funds are not needed, a small reserve will be kept for future legal action with the reminder of all funds being donated to harm reduction organizations and organizations that address domestic violence with actual documentation of those donations and retainer amount.
